    Description

    This daguerreotype features a young gentleman holding an empty daguerreotype case that the daguerreian pin pricked "Samuel B(?) Raymond Nov. 1849" into the bottom of. He wore a plaid waistcoat.
    The 1/6 plate was resealed with new glass and the half case measures about 3.25 x 3.75 inches.
