Vintage Volupte Powder Compact with Goldtone Rose Floret Richard Gaige Design

Description

Offered for sale is a vintage Richard Gaige Volupte powder compact, previously owned by my mother.
Richard Gaige designed and patented.
Patent Applied for in 1939. See picture.
Hard to get good pictures, the case looks worse in some of the pictures than it actually is, but there are age and usage condition issues.
Goldtone color Rose possibly brass? Single rose and enamel or black paint. Rose cleaned up nice with a bit of brass cleaner, so possibly brass.
It is in good condition for it's age. Measures just shy of 3" X 3" inches. Includes part of the original puff or ? Marked Volupte on the inside, and marked Leak Proof inside cosmetic section. Back is worn with some loss of color.
Mirror is broken, but what is left is original. May clean up nicely, but will leave that to the new owner.
