Vintage Polaroid ProPack Professional Instant Camera System with Polaroid Polatriplet 9.4 / 112mm Color Corrected / Coated Lens & Polaroid ProFlash Electronic Flash Unit with Hard Case
A great vintage 1992 era collector's camera! Beautiful item for display.
The system was designed for professional and business use when instant, high quality images were required.and had the following features:
Automatic exposure control and easy focusing with the use of a distance scale marked on the lens ring.
Self-erecting bellows struts; bed becomes front cover when not in use.
Rigid, non-parallax corrected viewfinder; no rangefinder. Viewfinder does have projected framelines.
"Everset" electronic shutter; does not need re-cocking before next exposure; shutter speed range is about 10 seconds - 1/500 sec.
Used either standard rectangular format OR square format pack films-- viewfinder has masks for both film formats, but does not indicate which format is in use.
Has plastic body with tripod socket; also has cable release socket.
Has film speed settings for 80 and 3000 ASA films; also has "3000ER" setting for using 3000 speed films at full aperture rather than f/58 or so.
Was compatible with a large array of peel-apart instant films, including: type 84, 85, 88, 89, 664, 665, 667, 679, 669, and 690.
ProFlash electronic flash unit automatically syncs with camera, featured automatic exposure control and a powerful output that allowed photographing subjects up to 50-75 ft away when using high speed black-and-white film.
Built-in flashcube socket for Hi-Power or regular flashcubes so camera could be used without ProFlash electronic flash unit.
Condition is "Used" and "Untested" so it is being sold so it is "AS IS".
However, it is in excellent cosmetic condition. Lenses are clear, no haze, fungus or dust between glass elements. Super clean inside and out.
There is some sign of past corrosion in the battery compartment of the inside the ProFlash and it doesn’t power up.
