  • Condition: This Polaroid SX-70 Alpha 1 SE camera features a replaced front lens unit as the original failed after an initial test phase. This camera was my personal camera for awhile and has some minor wear on the PU leather surrounding the tripod area. There are some minor wear and scuffs present on the original acrylic body however the black PU leather cover has been newly applied after completion of the deep clean.

    Description

    Refurbished Polaroid SX-70 Alpha 1 SE "Blue Button" model. Black acrylic body with black PU leather cover. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
    This camera and all models available for sale through Skavenger Store have been carefully disassembled, cleaned, reassembled and a protective polish applied to internal and external acrylic pieces. Any broken parts have been replaced with other parts sourced or harvested from other SX-70 cameras. All or most accessible screws have been replaced with modern M2 screws for easy future access if needed.
    *A procedure in which some models that contain a plastic rotor cover known to fail is also performed. This rotor cover is removed and the rotor spring extended. This procedure serves no fall in performance however extends reliability.

    YouTube has a community of videos explaining how to properly use, expose and take photos using the SX-70 models. It would be worth it to take some time and watch a few of these and save yourself the frustration of underexposing your polaroids.
