    Description

    This is a ninth-plate daguerreotype of a young man in an unusual outfit.  He wears a checkered collarless jacket, vest/waistcoat, and slouching hat.  I can't specifically identify the outfit but it has a Spanish or Latin American look.  It comes in a half case.
