Elgin Grade 104 16 Size 7 Jewel 50mm Silverode Open Face Pocket Watch ca. 1897.  This antique Elgin grade 104, class 31, model 5, 7 jewel 16 size pocket watch has a silverode case measuring approximately 50mm in diameter.  The case has light wear for it's age and patina spots on the back and near the stem, as pictured.  The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals, blue hands, a sunk seconds register and is marked "Elgin Nat'l Watch Co.".  The dial has hairlines and a chip, as pictured.  The crystal is in good condition.  The inside case is stamped "Philadelphia Watch Case Co. - Silverode - 84707".  The movement is stamped "Elgin National Watch Co. - U.S.A. - 6625288 - Safety Pinion".  All screws and jewels are in good condition.  Stem wind and set.  This watch is running and keeping time.  No guarantee of future performance.  This antique Elgin is in overall great condition for it's age.  ca. 1897
