Antique tintype of bearded man in case with viewing hole

Description

Unique case: has a an oval-shaped viewing hole in the front covered in glass. I'm not 100% sure whether this is a tintype or an ambrotype, but I'm leaning toward tintype. The case is in pretty good condition, with working hinges and clasp.
