I am pleased to offer from my private collection this important historical  Imperial Russian presentation 18k solid pink gold,enamel &diamonds hingeless case  Patek Philippe pocket watch c1870's in original luxury morocco leather presentation box.
This watch is one of a kind.
It has been awarded personally by Tsar Alexander II to General
Nikolay Vladimirovich Mezentsov (1827 – 1878). He was a Russian statesman, adjutant general (1871), and member of the State Council of Imperial Russia.
The watch comes from his family estate.
The watch has a solid 18k pink gold fancy unusual completely hingeless coin-edged case depicted the Imperial Russian coat of arms-the double headed crowned eagle,decorated with genuine Diamonds(huge central old rose cut diamond) and blue enamel. Very massive-103g heavy,49mm in diameter.
The watch is with the early serial number 44031. The matching number is signed on the case,inner case and on the movement under the dial. The book
from  Huber&Banbery shows with same caliber movement,described  as latest development of pendant winding by Adrien Philippe ,dated to 1875.
The watch has a high grade hand finished and hand polished nickel
movement,Breguet blue spiral,bymetalic compensating balance wheel with gold
weights,precision regulator,solid gold train,ruby endstone on balance,Wolf Teeth winding gears,fully jeweled.
Perfect working order-keeping exact time!
Fine enamel dial with original hands.Original crystal.
