    1/6 PLATE DAGUERREOTYPE OF YOUNG COUPLE HOLDING HANDS, GOOD CONTRAST, NO WIPES.
    This 1/6 plate daguerreotype is of a nice-looking young couple. Just married? The focus is sharp and contrast is good. There are no wipe marks. There is some tarnish and mat rubs to the perimeter. The seals were replaced, but not recently. The mat is signed "Holmes, 285 Broadway." It is in a half case.
